Fulham & USA’s Dempsey back in action

Fulham midfielder/forward Clint Dempsey was back in action on Thursday night after almost two months out with a knee injury.

The 27-year old USA international came on just after the hour-mark of Fulham’s 3-1 Europa League loss to Italian club Juventus.

Dempsey injured his knee back on January 17 against Blackburn Rovers and original fears were that he would be out for the World Cup but the damage done was not as bad as first thought and his return to the pitch is a major boost for both Fulham and the USA national team.
