Fulham are preparing to bring in Steve Clarke as their new manager.
According to the Daily Mail, the West London club will replace the sacked Kit Symons with the current Reading boss.
The Cottagers will agree a compensation fee with the Royals for the former West Bromwich Albion manager who has been at the Madejski Stadium since December 14.
Last term, he guided Reading away from the drop zone while leading them to the FA Cup semi-final for the first time in close to 90 years.
Clarke is now set to return to London where he spent 11 years as a player and four as an assistant coach at Chelsea.
