Fulham are ready to hand Marcus Bettinelli a new contract.
Bettinelli, 26, was called up to Gareth Southgate's squad for the first time for the matches against Spain and Switzerland.
The Sun says his contract at Craven Cottage expires at the end of next season and his club want him tied down.
West Ham and Crystal Palace have looked at the keeper and Chelsea were also interested in him as a homegrown option.
Fulham want his future secured to at least a two-year extension to end hopes of clubs landing him after the door appeared open at the start of the season when he was left out of Slavisa Jokanovic's matchday squad.
