Jonathan Greening is set for showdown talks with West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace.
The Daily Star Sunday says Baggies chairman Jeremy Peace rejected two bids of £1.8million and £2.2m from Fulham at the end of last week for captain Greening, 30.
But Peace wants £4m for Greening - and he is fuming at what he believes is an unrealistic transfer fee.
Peace said: "We are cash neutral so we can afford to buy before we sell.
"Greening is top class and did well in the Championship for us so it would be crazy to sell him now.
"We won't be doing business with our best players."
