The Fulham Supporters' Trust insists manager Martin Jol has the fans' support.
There were calls for Jol's dismissal at the end of Saturday's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
But FST spokesman Don Crawford told the London Evening Standard: "The manager has to take some responsibility but calling for his head on the basis or three or four games is a bit of an instant reaction.
"Jol has the backing of the majority of fans but that could change on future results.
"There are a lot of Fulham fans who are uncertain about Jol and the next few months are his audition to take hold of the reins at the club for some time to come.
"The performances of late have not been great but you have got to look at what the alternative [managerial options] are - and there is not an attractive option."
