Fulham striker Zamora not bothered by England talk

Fulham striker Bobby Zamora insists talk of an England call doesn't bother him.

Zamora says he is not thinking of the Three Lions and a chance to go to this summer's World Cup.

The ex-West Ham and Brighton hitman said: "I don't think that far ahead. Honestly, not at all. We have got so many games now that you do not get a chance to think about anything - let alone anything like that.

"I've now got 18 goals, which I am very pleased with. I'm not sure what the difference is from last year.

"Maybe I have stayed higher up the pitch.

"I'm lucky enough to have Zoltan Gera playing with me. He does that defensive role that I did a lot last year, in and around the centre of midfield.

"That gives me a chance to save a little bit more energy and stay high up the field."
