Fulham striker Marcello Trotta is set to stay on-loan at Brentford.

Martin Jol admits it's best for Trotta's career to stay out on loan as he is still way down the pecking order in SW6.

"He's a youngster and if he plays his games in the lower leagues it can only be good," said Jol.

"I can't see him coming back and being in our squad, so I think it's important to be playing."
