Fulham striker Marcello Trotta struck for Brentford in victory over Port Vale.

Trotta set Brentford on the road to an eighth successive Sky Bet League One victory as they maintained their lead at the top of the table.

Trotta marked his 50th appearance for the club with a 30th-minute opener at home to Port Vale, and Will Grigg made it 2-0 at the death to keep the Bees a point ahead of Leyton Orient.
