Fulham striker Marcello Trotta is determined to slay the demons from last season at Brentford.
Manager Mark Warburton has revealed that Trotta is driven by memories of his penalty miss that cost Brentford promotion on the final day of last season.
"He took it to heart and wants to show the fans that he is passionate about Brentford being successful," said Warburton.
"It is forgotten about as far as we are concerned but, in his mind, he feels he has some unfinished business here.
"He has shown tremendous strength of character," said Warburton. "He wants to play a key role in making sure we achieve our aims this season and we are delighted with his level of performance."
