Fulham striker Pavel Pogrebnyak is excited going into his first London derby against QPR.

The Russian striker is well aware of the importance of a local derby in the Barclays Premier League.

"I understand already the rivalry with Queens Park Rangers, and having played in derby games before I know the importance of winning such matches," Pogrebnyak told fulhamfc.com.

"I understand how important and dramatic Saturday's game might be and it goes without saying that I want to keep scoring and helping Fulham."
