Southampton midfielder Andrew Surman has played down interest from Fulham and Stoke City.

"I still expect to be here at the end of January," Surman told the club's official website.

"I've got no plans to leave and as far as I'm concerned I'm still a Southampton player and hopefully that will continue.

"It's all paper talk and you hear a lot of rumours, but I don't read the papers myself."
