Fulham are confident they can still land Martin Jol as their new manager despite Dutch club Ajax playing hardball.
Earlier this week it was believed that former Tottenham boss Jol would be installed as Roy Hodgson's Craven Cottage replacement on Thursday but Ajax have apparently tried to stall the deal.
Ajax have reportedly chosen to refuse compensation talks with the Londoners and have now changed their tune on giving Jol a transfer kitty which he originally was not going to get.
But Fulham are remaining confident they will get their man after he agreed in principle to the job on the weekend.
