Fulham captain Danny Murphy is eyeing a finish in the top half of the table.
The midfielder told fulhamfc.com: "I think we should look at our form and our results and take massive positives from those, and not worry too much about the fact that this season's tally of points in the lower reaches of the Premier League is above average, because that takes away from what we're doing and the way we're progressing and playing. We don't want to be worrying about what's below us, we want to be looking above us.
"If we keep playing the way we have been and keep our good run going, hopefully another two or three games into the season we'll be edging further away from it rather than worrying about being close to it."
