Former Portsmouth winger Ryan Williams admits he chose Fulham over rival offers.

Amid interest from other teams, it was the Whites who managed to secure the highly-rated starlet's signature.

"I think it was exactly a week before transfer deadline day when my agent said Fulham were interested," Williams told fulhamfc.com. "It came closer to the final day [of the month] and they asked me to play a game so I gave it a go. I played and played well so then Fulham wanted to sign me and I was really happy."
