Fulham signing Kieran Richardson is happy with his grounding at Manchester United.
Richardson started his career as a youngster at West Ham, but was snapped up by Manchester United at the age of 14.
"I was at West Ham from the age of 10 and then went to United," he recalled to fulhamfc.com. "They had the best set-up there, they bought the best players through and I worked with a lot of good coaches, people like Eric Harrison, Paul McGuinness and Neil Bailey.
"In my age group you had David Jones, who's now at Wigan Athletic and Phil Bardsley, who's now at Sunderland. In the year below was Chris Eagles, who's now at Bolton Wanderers. We won the FA Youth Cup with that team and you'd be hard pushed to get a better upbringing in football."
