New Fulham striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has denied claims that he has had major differences with VfB Stuttgart chiefs.

New Fulham striker Pavel Pogrebnyak has denied claims that he has had major differences with VfB Stuttgart chiefs.

The Russian international yesterday finalised a move to West London amidst reports that he had a falling out with Stuttgart hierarchy but he was quick to rubbish that speculation.

“Some sensationalist quotes, which are now flitted by the media, are simply not true. This is not my style. I was very happy in Stuttgart,” he told the German club’s official website.

"I have a feeling the fans always appreciated my commitment. I also feel that it is very important for me to say goodbye to them and thank them."

Pogrebnyak has arrived at Fulham on six-month deal for a fee of around £3million.
