New Fulham signing Brede Hangeland knows he's arrived at the centre of football - the Premiership.

He said: "It has been a bit of a whirlwind but so far it has gone well.

"The Premier League is the place to be. In Norway everyone follows this league and it's been an ambition of mine for many years to play here.

"I know that people say it takes six months to settle. I have to try and shorten that period of time - to almost six minutes.

"Of course it's a big difference, it's a much more physical league, it's faster and I have to adapt as quickly as possible."
