Fulham signing Eidur Gudjohnsen admits he didn't see eye-to-eye with Stoke City boss Tony Pulis.
Gudjohnsen joined Fulham on Monday.
In a dig at Pulis's style of play, he said: "My situation wasn't great at Stoke, in all honesty. First and foremost, I think style of play was the biggest factor.
"Maybe there were slightly different views on the way football is played between me and Stoke.
"I didn't adapt to it because I didn't start any games. It was a difficult time but I'm glad it's over.
"I'm glad it's over. Hopefully I can get my career back on track and we'll see what the future holds."
