Mahamadou Diarra is delighted to be finally playing in England with Fulham.

The former Real Madrid and Lyon midfield ace made his debut in defeat at Aston Villa last week.

"For the last two years I have wanted to play in England because the Premier League is the competition where every good player would like to be," Diarra told fulhamfc.com.

"So now I am really happy, because it is good to know how it is. I knew that I needed to train hard in the last six months to be ready if I got an offer, to be at my top physical condition, so that I could get the chance to sign here. I had to prove how I am and now I will give my best for this Team."
