The opportunity to play in the Premier League is what motivated Joe Bryan's decision to join Fulham.

The left-back, who joined the Cottagers on deadline day from Bristol City, also lauded his new club's style of play.

Aston Villa attempted to sign Bryan at the eleventh hour. But 24-year-old was determined to play in the top-fight.

He said: "Playing against Fulham the last couple of years, the style of play has really stood out to me and it will suit me.

"The opportunity to play in the Premier League is one you can't turn down as you may never get it again in your lifetime.

"I'm used to playing fast attacking football, so hopefully I can slot right in."
