The Daily Star Sunday says Martin Jol has been left stunned by Peterborough's staggering £10million price tag for rookie striker Gayle.
Fulham boss Jol has seen a £3m offer for the ex-Arsenal trainee, 22, who struck 13 goals for Posh following his move from Dagenham and Redbridge, rejected.
