Fulham are moving to trump Crystal Palace for West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie.

The Mirror says Odemwingie has been set for a move to south London and Premier League new boys Palace, with Ian Holloway keen on his services.

But with doubts now surrounding that switch, the Cottagers - bought last week by US billionaire Shad Khan - have registered an interest in bringing him to west London instead.

Odemwingie, 31, has just a year left on his contract but has been left out of the Baggies' pre-season tour of Germany.
