Fulham are set to swoop on Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara as his time at loanee club Portsmouth looks over.
Pompey are keen to re-sign the 23-year old who will return to Tottenham in mid-January but the south coast club are currently under a transfer embargo as they owe more than £7million in unpaid transfer fees.
Cottagers boss Roy Hodgson is hoping to bring O'Hara in if the Premier League do not give Pompey special clearance to re-sign him but the player himself admits he is unsure of what will happen.
"I do not know what the whole situation is so I am just trying to wait and see what happens," O'Hara said.
"There is a clause in the agreement where Tottenham want me to go to three clubs and if Portsmouth cannot do it then maybe I will go elsewhere.
"I am disappointed because I want to help Portsmouth out of relegation but I just want to play football."
