Dnipro midfielder Derek Boateng is set to sign for Fulham.

Boateng was due to take a medical in London yesterday.

Martin Jol is a long-term admirer of Boateng, who can also play at centre-back, and is looking to add protection to a defence which has conceded 37 goals in 21 Premier League games this season.
