Fulham winger Seol Ki-hyeon is keen to get his spot back in the South Korean national team.
The 30-year old was recalled for the international friendly against Australia in Seoul on Saturday and is determined to wrestle his place in the team back off Bolton's Lee Chung-yong.
"Lee has done a great job for the national team. But the competition is just beginning. No one knows what will happen from now on," Seol, who has played 79 times for the national team, told local media.
"I really thank manager Huh for giving me another shot. Taking advantage of this chance, I will try to remain on the team.
"Lee is a stable player, while I play to create chances. I still have a year until the World Cup. I will do my best."
