Fulham's Senderos hoping to show fans what he is made of

Fulham defender Philippe Senderos hopes next season he can show the fans what he is capable of.

The 26-year old Swiss international was restricted to just four appearances last term because of an Achilles injury but says he is now fully fit, on top of his game and ready to repay the faith shown in him by Cottagers' management and supporters.

"Playing for Switzerland was a great end to what was a tough season for me where I had no chance to show Fulham fans what I can do," Senderos told the Fulham & Hammersmith Chronicle.

"To come back after the injury and end the campaign on a high note has left me with a great feeling going into the new season."

He added: "The most important thing for me next season is just to stay fit and to stay on form after the frustrating year I've had.

"There's a lot to look forward to and I can't wait to start playing in Europe again.

"I think as a club we should aim to do at least as well as last season. There's no reason to limit our ambitions."
