Premier League stars Mark Schwarzer and Tim Cahill plus current day Socceroos Lucas Neill, Mark Bresciano, Harry Kewell and Brett Emerton join the likes of Joe Marston, Frank Farina, Mark Viduka and Alex Tobin.

The poll was established to give fans, players and media the top 100 footballers who had pulled on the green and gold to mark the centenary of organised football in Australia with the formation of what is now Football Federation Australia in December 1911.

Over 1,260 people voted in the poll which was open for from December 2011 to January 2012.

The complete top 100, including the order of the top 16, will be announced by the FMA at a special event anticipated to be held in June.
