Fulham's Oxford loanee Williams targets Socceroos spot

Ryan Williams admits he would love to one day become a regular in the Australian national team.

The 20-year old Fulham winger, who is on loan at League Two club Oxford United, has plans to force his way into the Socceroos setup just like older brother Rhys Williams who captains Championship outfit Middlesbrough.

"Every Australian footballer wants to play for the Socceroos, especially when their older brother is starting every week for them," Williams told au.fourfourtwo.com.

"That's something that I really, really want to do but at the moment I just need to concentrate on my club football and obviously playing well at club football will get you a call-up.

"Whether it's now or in five years or 10 year times, I just want to play for them."
