Fulham boss Roy Hodgson is almost certain to snub the England job for the vacant role at Liverpool.

Following England's elimination from the World Cup, Hodgson was installed as favourite to replace Fabio Capello but Liverpool are confident he will complete his proposed move to Anfield despite growing interest from the Football Association.

Hodgson has recently stated that he wants assurance of some spending money before he commits to the Reds and rumours are that a deal will be finalised sometime this week.
