Fulham's Gera attracting interest from Spain, Italy

Fulham midfielder Zoltan Gera is attracting interest from clubs in both Spain and Italy according to his agent.

The 31-year old Hungary international is unhappy with his current situation at Craven Cottage and is expected to depart the London club in the summer with free agent status.

His representative, Vlada Filipovic, said that there are some clubs indeed showing interest in Gera.

"Zoltan is free in the summer and a few clubs from Italy and Spain have recently made enquires as he can sign a pre-contract abroad," he told skysports.com.

"There was interest and offers from clubs in the January window to take him but the manager [Mark Hughes ] wanted to keep him.

"Of course he would like to remain in the Premier League but he is also open to a new challenge abroad.

"Zoltan is away with the national team at the moment. Once he is back we will have a discussion and start looking towards his future."
