Fulham's December 26 meeting with Southampton will go ahead despite industrial action by London Underground workers.

The Boxing Day clash at Craven Cottage was initially postponed because of the Tube strike but both clubs have confirmed the fixture will be played as scheduled.

"Fulham FC is pleased to confirm that its Boxing Day fixture against Southampton will be going ahead as scheduled," Fulham wrote on their official website.

A statement on Southampton's official website added: "The Cottagers have been monitoring developments closely with Transport for London and will advise further travel details later this week for the 15.00GMT kick-off at Craven Cottage."
