Fulham defender Elliot Omuzusi was delighted to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night.

The youngster told fulhamfc.com: "I was a bit nervous before the game but once I got into it I was fine.

"I had been doing a bit of work all week in the back four so I had an idea that I might be involved but when it was confirmed I was delighted. On the whole I think it went alright, there were a few things I needed to tidy up on but overall it was okay.

"I've been training and working hard - I have been training a lot with the First Team and I've started three games so far this season so hopefully I will be able to push on from there. The Manager told me that I have done well in the games I played and the next thing was for me to hold my place in the Team on a consistent basis. It's all about training and keeping my head down."
