Fulham and Aston Villa are chasing Tottenham striker Robbie Keane.
The People says Keane has been on Villa's radar since before Gerard Houllier's summer arrival and Spurs are willing to offload him in January to help fund a move for a world-class striker.
But Cottagers boss Mark Hughes also wants the Irishman - although a dispute between Fulham and Spurs over Peter Crouch's switch to White Hart Lane last summer means relations between the clubs are poor.
