Fulham are preparing a bid for AS Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

The Daily Mail says Fulham remain in talks with Roma over a move for Stekelenburg and hope to reach agreement on a £5million transfer next month.

The Dutchman was on his way to London on transfer deadline day in January only for the move to be blocked by Roma.
