Fulham are on the brink of a transfer coup with the capture of FC Cluj star Lacine Traore.
The Daily Mail chairman Mohamed Al Fayed has vowed to back manager Mark Hughes in the January transfer window.
Hughes close to agreeing a £3million deal with Romanian champions Cluj for 6ft 8in Ivory Coast striker Traore.
The 20-year-old, a long-term target for Arsenal, could have a medical next week.
