Fulham boss Martin Jol is determined to land Huddersfield striker Jordan Rhodes.
The London Evening Standard says Fulham were initially hopeful he would be available for a knockdown price and after a failed enquiry in January they have since had a £2million bid rejected. Huddersfield are understandably keen to make maximum profit from their prize asset and value him at £6million.
In the midst of interest from other Premier League clubs Fulham have been forced to negotiate and have returned to the table with an offer of £4million plus £2million in add-ons.
