Fulham have made it clear that there have been no official offers for star midfielder Clint Dempsey.
The 29-year old USA international has been heavily linked with a summer move to Liverpool with a news website owned by LFC owners Fenway Sports Group having to amend an article claiming he had joined the Reds but that notion has been denied by a Cottagers spokesperson who indicates Dempsey is going nowhere.
"We have not received any bids for Clint Dempsey," the spokesperson said. "We would also discourage any bids."
Fulham would be loath to lose Dempsey after the former New England Revolution ace scored 17 goals in the Premier League last term and would certainly not want to sell him to a rival top flight club.
