Fulham offload South Korean international

Fulham flop Seol Ki-Hyeon has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent. The South Korean star has endured a nightmare two-and-a-half years at Craven Cottage since joining from Reading in 2007.

A statement released on the club's website read: "The club can confirm that Seol Ki-Hyeon's contract with Fulham FC has been cancelled by mutual consent."

It had been reported that he had favoured a return to Reading over a move to South China but Hodgson confirmed the 31-year-old's departure this afternoon.

"Seol has decided to leave us. He's moving on," said Hodgson.

"We wish him all the best. He has been a good servant in his time at the club and he has been here longer than me. Whenever he was called upon he's gone out and done his best."
