Fulham must cough up £8 million to sign Watford striker Marlon King.
The Championship side turned down a £4m bid from the Cottagers and want their 11-goal top scorer to stay and lead Aidy Boothroyd's bid for Premier League promotion.
Hornets chief executive Mark Ashton said: "We have no need to sell him - and nor do we want to."
