Fulham move for Real Madrid legend Raul

Fulham are interested in Schalke veteran striker Raul.

The Daily Mail says Fulham are leading the chase for Spain's all-time leading goalscorer Raul.

The striker's contract with Schalke expires at the end of the season but he is unlikely to stay in Germany, having only been offered a one-year deal.

Fulham have already been in contact with his representatives but have not made an offer.

Blackburn Rovers also retain an interest in the former Real Madrid star, 34, but are unlikely to be able to afford him.
