Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe has been fined and suspended for sending a derogatory Tweet.
The Football Association has banned the 22-year old for two games and hit him with a £5,000 fine after he pleaded guilty to a charge of 'aggravated misconduct by reference to sexual orientation'.
Tunnicliffe sent an offensive Twitter post to Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford regarding his sexuality while the 21-year old was on loan at Middlesbrough last season.
The Tweet came in the aftermath of Middlesbrough's 2-0 Championship play-off final defeat to Norwich City on May 25.
