Bent came off the bench to hit the winner against Stoke City on Saturday.
"I would like to think [we can go on a run]," Bent said. "Personally, it is about getting match sharpness back and fitness back, it is coming.
"I am not too far away. A couple more games and I think I will be there.
"The main thing, as a club, is that we try and get some consistency and rhythm. In this league, the more points you rack up, the better it is."
