Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has explained that guiding the Cottagers to promotion will be his greatest ever achievement in football management.

Despite being tipped to struggle by many, Fulham have managed to earn a playoff spot in the Championship and the Cottagers will now surely be fancying their chances of earning promotion into the Premier League.

Manager Slavisa Jokanovic has to be handed a lot of credit for transforming Fulham this season and the 48-year-old has admitted that guiding the Cottagers into the Premier League would be one of his greatest achievements.

Jokanovic said: "I had different experiences at the last two teams. For instance, at Watford they had players who were winners so it was less work.

"Here we started with this team from a low level. We brought in 14 new players and built step by step a good team. It's not the time for comparison, but I'm proud of my players. What is in front of us is important work. We want to show ambition, desire, push hard and be successful."
