Fulham loanee Lucas Piazon still believes in Chelsea future

Fulham loanee Lucas Piazon retains hope of making it at parent club Chelsea.

The Chelsea playmaker will remain at Fulham for the rest of the season after his loan deal, which expired earlier this month, was extended.

“The Championship is quite similar to the Bundesliga," Piazon told the London Evening Standard. “The football is completely different from when I played in Brazil, or for Malaga in Spain, or Vitesse Arnhem in Holland.

“In Spain and Holland I didn't have many defensive jobs. It was a case of 'Get the ball and do your stuff.' Then moving from Holland to Germany, the football was completely different, the teams and players were stronger.

“I came to Europe to play for Chelsea so if one day they want me there, I would be very happy. I also have a feeling that I'd like to stay longer in one place."
