Fulham are in loan talks for AS Monaco striker Eidur Gudjohnsen.
The People says the former Chelsea striker was at Tottenham for the second half of the last campaign but Harry Redknapp decided against taking him on again from Monaco.
Now Hughes has started negotiations with the powerful Icelander and is set to snap him up in the next few days, with Monaco helping to pay his wages. Gudjohnsen has also spoken to Rangers, but he prefers the London lifestyle.
