Fulham loanee Eidur Gudjohnsen hopes that this move will the one to resurrect his flailing career.
The Icelandic striker has joined the Cottagers for the rest of the season, landing in London after a poor stint with Stoke City.
The 32-year old is looking to get things back into gear under Mark Hughes, whom is very grateful to for making the move occur.
"Hopefully I can get my career back on track," he told the club's official website.
"I'm grateful for this chance and it's a great opportunity for me to show what I can do. I fully intend to make the most of my time here and then we'll see what the future holds.
"My situation wasn't great at Stoke in all honesty and I've got the opportunity to come here and impress the manager, get games under my belt and help Fulham push forward."
