Fulham are launching a bid for Besiktas goalkeeper Fabri.
The Sun says the Spaniard helped the Istanbul club win Turkey's Super Lig title in 2017, and shone in Champions League action last season.
Turkish reports now claim Craven Cottage officials have had an opening offer rejected for the 30-year-old.
The Premier League newcomers' bid is understood to be around £4million, while Besiktas value Fabri at nearer £7m.
However he will be out of contract next year, and they are likely to accept a slight improvement on Fulham's first approach.
