Pascal Zuberbuhler is delighted with his new contract at Fulham.

The 38 year-old goalkeeper said: "I am experiencing a fantastic period of my career. I belong to an historic club in London, within the greatest league in the world.

"I can feel immense respect in my work from the Fulham directors. Roy Hodgson is a great person. He is the one who convinced me to stay another year."

He added: "Obviously I'd like to play more often. But at least I know what to expect. I have a lot of fun training. And I have been on the same wavelength with Mark Schwarzer since day one."
