Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale believes he can break back into the England squad.

He has not been called up to a squad since Fabio Capello selected him for the friendly against Sweden in 2011 - in which he did not play - but hopes to catch the eye in Maarten Stekelenburg's absence.

"I believe I can get back there [in the squad] but you need games," said Stockdale. "If that does come along, I would love to represent my country."
