Fulham goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg has no regrets over his move from AS Roma.
The Dutchman insists he's made a step up.
"English football is better than Italian football for me," he said. "Roma are a big club and wanted to go the other way under Luis Enrique. In my first year it looked quite positive. But in the second year I was not sure of my place.
"Fulham came and I did not hesitate. I wanted to always play in England and here I feel confident. Fulham is a hot club which suits me."
On Fulham's lowly table position, Stekelenburg added: "No, I do not have a clause in my contract that I can leave if we're relegated. But that will not happen."
